Evil Genius (Los Angeles/Portland/New York) is an experimental music trio formed in 2012 featuring Max Kutner (guitars), Stefan Kac (tuba) and Michael "Bonepocket" Lockwood (drums).
Their unique sound has evoked comparisons to artists as far flung as the Minutemen, Paul Motian, Captain Beefheart, This Heat, Sun City Girls and Henry Threadgill.
